Beech Leaf With Gently Scalloped Wavy Edge

Beech Leaf With Gently Scalloped Wavy Edge coloring page

Coloring guide

A single large leaf fills the page, tilted diagonally with a short curved stem at the bottom left and a pointed tip at the upper right. The outline has a gently wavy, slightly scalloped edge. A thick central midrib runs from the stem up to the tip, drawn as a double line. Parallel side veins branch off it on both sides, curving toward the leaf edge. Some veins are bold and some fade to thin, light lines near the margin. The big open spaces between veins are easy to color, even for small hands. Try shading each section between the veins in a slightly different green, yellow, or orange to show an autumn leaf changing color. It also works well for a printable nature lesson on how leaf veins are arranged.
