Oak Leaf With Wavy Rounded Lobes and Deep Gaps

Coloring guide
A single oak leaf fills the page, tilted slightly with its short stem at the bottom. A thick central vein runs up through the middle, and thinner veins branch off toward each wavy lobe. The lobes are rounded and uneven, with deep gaps between them on both sides and a wide, bumpy tip at the top. Because the outline is bold and the inner lines are thin, it's easy for younger kids to stay inside the edges while still having detail to work with. Try coloring each lobe in a slightly different shade of green, orange, or brown, then trace the veins with a darker pencil. It's also a handy printable for talking about leaf parts like the stem, midrib, and lobes.
