Big Maple Leaf With Five Jagged Lobes

Coloring guide
A single maple leaf fills the page, drawn with a thick central stem that runs from the bottom up to the pointed tip. Five main lobes spread out from one center point, and each lobe has jagged, pointed edges along its outline. Thinner veins branch off the main lines, and small curved veins fill the spaces between them. Two oval cutouts sit on either side of the upper lobe, and a few narrow notches cut into the lower lobes. The lines are bold and clear, so younger kids can stay inside them while older kids can work on the tiny vein sections. Try a fall palette of red, orange, and gold, shading from one color to another across each lobe. This printable sheet also works well for a science lesson on leaf parts, where kids can trace the stem and veins in a darker color.
