Oak Leaf on a Diagonal With Thick Stem

Coloring guide
A single oak leaf fills the page, tilted slightly on a diagonal with a thick stem at the bottom. The center vein runs up through the middle, and smaller veins branch off toward each side. The edge has deep, wavy lobes that curve in and out, with a bold outline around the lower left side and thinner lines near the top. Because the shapes are big and open, this is a good fit for kids who are still building control with crayons or markers. Try coloring each lobe a slightly different shade of green, orange, or brown to show the leaf changing in autumn, then trace the veins with a darker pencil. It is also handy for a printable science lesson on leaf parts like the stem, midrib, and veins.
