Giant Paintbrush with a Flicked Bristle Tip

Giant Paintbrush with a Flicked Bristle Tip coloring page

Coloring guide

A single paintbrush fills the page, tilted diagonally with the bristles at the top left and the long handle stretching toward the bottom right. The bristle tip curls up into a pointed flick, and a few small curved lines inside the bristles show where the hairs bunch together. A wide band, called the ferrule, sits between the bristles and the handle and is split into two sections by a straight line. The handle is smooth and plain, tapering to a rounded end. Because the shapes are big and the lines are clean, it works well for younger kids using crayons or markers. Try coloring the bristles in a bright paint color and the handle in a wood tone, then use a metallic gray or silver for the ferrule. It also makes a nice warm-up before an art class or the first week of school.
