Leaping Buck With Antlers Mid-Jump

Coloring guide
A male deer with antlers is caught mid-leap, facing left with its body stretched out almost flat. The front legs reach forward and down while the back legs extend straight behind, and the hooves are split and clearly drawn. The tail is raised and curved upward with a ruffled edge. You can see a small eye, a dark nose, one upright ear, and several pointed antler tines. A few light lines on the neck, shoulder, and belly show muscle and fur. The outlines are clean and the body has plenty of open space, so it works well for blending browns and tans with crayons or colored pencils. For a simple nature lesson, kids can color the antlers a different shade than the body and talk about why bucks grow antlers. This free printable suits a wide range of ages.
