Leaping Dolphin With a Heart, Thank You Cards Page
Coloring guide
Right in the middle, a smiling dolphin arcs out of the water, with big splashes curling up on both sides of its tail. A heart floats by its nose next to a few small bubbles, and a round sun with short rays shines in the top left corner. Under the wavy water line, three striped fish swim among seaweed, and a scallop shell and a spiral shell rest on the sea floor. Large shapes and open spaces work for young colorers, and the bubbles and fish stripes add detail for older kids. Light blue and gray suit the dolphin, with a bright red or pink heart and a sunny yellow sun. The heart makes this free printable a friendly hand-colored thank-you note to share. - 2Color the dolphin's body and both fins bright blue, then fill the belly area with pale blue, leaving the eye whites white.
- 3Paint the open mouth rose pink and the big fish body tangerine orange, keeping its white stripes white and adding deep orange to the tail and top fin.
- 4Color the wave, the splashes and the bubbles bright blue or light sky blue, and fill the sea water below the waves with light sky blue.
- 5Color the seaweed grass green, the shells in soft pink and lavender purple, and the pebbles warm gray. Optional: add a slightly darker shade along the edges of the dolphin for depth.
