Leprechaun Riding a Hedgehog With a Mouse
Coloring guide
A big hedgehog lies tipped on its side with its front paws in the air and its pointed nose raised, wearing a bridle with reins. A small leprechaun in a wide-brimmed hat sits on its back and holds the reins in one hand while the other hand is raised and open. He has a swirl pattern on his coat, and a few shamrocks are tucked near his hat and shoulder. A mouse with a long curling tail clings near the bottom of the scene, close to the leprechaun's legs. The hedgehog's spines are drawn as many short, leaf-like strokes, which makes the page nice for detailed work. Try colored pencils in warm browns and tans for the spines, then pick bright greens for the shamrocks and the leprechaun's clothes. This free page also works well for a St. Patrick's Day activity.
