Printing Tips
Jan Brett's illustrations shine with intricate borders, layered textures, and delicate details—think curled leaves with fine veins and shaggy fur on animals. Printing on standard A4 paper works well, but if your coloring artist loves fine detail work, consider slightly heavier paper to prevent marker bleed-through. Her natural color palette of forest greens, warm browns, woodland golds, and seasonal tones lends itself beautifully to colored pencils or watercolor pencils, which capture the subtlety Brett is known for.
