Four Frogs With Spotted and Striped Patterns

Coloring guide
Four frogs are scattered across the page, each seen from above in a different pose. The frog at top left has a long body with wavy stripes and oval blotches down its back, and its legs are filled with small speckled shapes. Below it, another frog has a rounded back with curvy bands and a few large ovals, plus striped arms and legs that stretch out wide. On the right, two smoother frogs have big round eyes and long, relaxed legs, with little detail on their skin. One of them shows faint ribs along its side. All four have splayed toes with rounded tips. The patterned frogs are great for practicing small-space coloring with fine tip markers, while the plain ones leave room for blending. Try giving each frog its own color scheme, then talk about how bright skin patterns help real frogs in nature. This page is free to print.
