A bicycle with two spoked wheels and thick tires fills this page, drawn sideways so you may want to turn the sheet before coloring. Big daffodils with ruffled trumpets and long leaves are tucked around the frame. Three fluffy chicks are on board: two near the handlebars and one perched toward the back. At the lower right, a small spiky animal that looks like a hedgehog wears a round helmet with a buckled chin strap. The feathery chick fluff, the daffodil petals and the spiky back all give you different textures to work with. Try soft yellows and oranges for the chicks and flowers, then use a darker brown for the spines. It's also a nice prompt to talk about bike safety and why helmets matter.
