Letter O Is for Oranges Alphabet Page

A large bubble-style capital O and lowercase o sit at the top of the page, both with a shadow along one side that gives them a chunky 3D look. Below them is a whole orange with a halved orange resting in front of it. The cut face shows a ring of wedge-shaped segments around a small center, with a short stem detail on the whole fruit behind. Two pointed leaves with fine vein lines tuck in at the lower right, and the word ORANGES in outlined block letters runs along the bottom. This page works well for letter recognition practice. Ask kids to trace the O and o with a finger, then say the word orange out loud and listen for the starting sound. The wedge sections are a fun place to try different shades of orange, and the shadows on the letters are a good spot for a darker color. Print it as many times as you need for a letter O lesson or a quiet activity at home.
