Sleepy Kitten in the Alphabet Letter C

Coloring guide
This kitten has curled up inside a big, bold letter C for a nap. Its eyes are closed, it has a tiny smile and long whiskers, and its head rests on two little front paws while a striped tail wraps around its body. There are stripes on the forehead as well as the tail, and the pointed ears have inner lines. At the bottom of the C you'll find a ball of yarn with a loose strand trailing off to the left. Large open spaces and thick outlines help younger kids build pencil control, and the shape of the C is handy for letter recognition at home or at school. Warm orange with darker orange stripes suits the kitten, and a purple or blue yarn ball will pop nicely. Save it as a free PDF for kids and coloring fans of all ages. Fans of Alphabet coloring pages often like Calendar and Anatomy as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big letter C background in sky blue, using smooth back-and-forth strokes around the kitten.
- 2Fill the kitten's head, body, tail, and both paws with golden orange, leaving the tail tip for the same color.
- 3Add caramel brown stripes on the forehead and across the top of the head to give the kitten its tabby look.
- 4Color the inner ears soft pink, then fill the yarn ball and its string with coral pink, leaving thin white stripes across the ball.
- 5Optional: Add a little darker orange along the edges of the body and paws to give the kitten a bit of depth.
