Thin-Line Capital M with a Pointed Middle

Thin-Line Capital M with a Pointed Middle coloring page

Coloring guide

A single capital letter M fills the page, drawn as a clean outline with a thin black line and nothing else around it. The letter has two tall straight sides and a pointed V shape in the middle that dips down toward the lower center. The inside is left blank and white, so there is lots of open space for crayons, markers, or colored pencils. The wide, chunky strokes make the letter easy to color without going outside the lines, which is helpful for younger kids still building control. Try coloring each stroke of the M a different color to help children see how many lines it takes to build the letter: two upright sides and two slanted middle strokes. It also works well for a name activity, since the page can be used for Mom, Max, or Maya. This free printable fits nicely into a letter of the week lesson at home or in the classroom.
