Letter U Umbrella Page With Boy and Duckling

A smiling child in a raincoat and rubber boots walks along while holding a big open umbrella with both hands. The coat has a flap pocket, buttons down the front, and cuffs on the sleeves, and the umbrella has a curved handle and scalloped edges. A small duckling waddles along behind with its wings held out. A large capital U sits in the top left corner next to the word Umbrella, and a lowercase u appears in the bottom right corner. This page works well for letter U practice. Ask kids to trace both letters with a finger first, then color them in one bright color so the U stands out. After that, they can pick different colors for the umbrella panels, the coat, and the boots. You can print it free for a quick classroom center or a rainy day at home.
