Lion Cub on a Stone Platform in Lego Disney Brick Style
Coloring guide
Sitting upright on a stepped stone platform, this brick-style lion cub is built from blocky panels. It looks right at you with big round eyes and a little triangle nose. Two braids with banded tips hang beside its face, and the mane looks like stacked bricks. The tail curls up on the left and finishes in a bud-shaped tuft. A large circle, like a sun or moon, sits behind the cub, and two flat-topped acacia trees stand on small rolling hills. Grass blades poke up in the bottom corners. Little ones who like to fill in one small space at a time will enjoy all the separate sections on the body. Golden yellow and orange work for the cub, deep brown for the mane, and sunset red or orange for the big circle. Download the free PDF for a screen-free activity at home. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big circle behind the lion with sunny yellow, then fill the hills and grass on both sides with light green and grass green.
- 2Fill the platform stones with light gray, and use slate gray for the darker stones along the edges and bottom.
- 3Color the lion's body, legs and tail with golden yellow, leaving the face muzzle, chest and paws in cream.
- 4Use tangerine orange for the mane, braids and tail tuft, adding a little rust orange in the darker spots.
- 5Add blush pink inside the ears, chestnut brown for the tree trunks and forest green for the tree tops, and color the grass tufts in leaf green.
- 6Optional: Leave the small eye shine and tree highlight white so the lion looks sparkly and bright.
