Lion Lounging on a Savanna Rock, Animals Coloring Page
Coloring guide
Stretched out on a flat rock, this friendly male lion has a big, fluffy mane framing a sweet face with round eyes, whiskers, and a small smile. His two front paws rest side by side in front, while a hind leg and tufted tail curl around on the right. Behind him are a flat-topped acacia tree and a few rounded bushes on rolling hills, with tufts of tall grass in the corners. The mane is full of pointy fur strands, so kids who love small details will enjoy it, and the big paws and rock are easy for little hands. Golden yellow and warm orange suit the mane, tan the body, and green and brown the tree and grass. Print it at home for a calm creative break. - 2Fill the mane and tail with chestnut brown, then add the darker brown on the tree trunk.
- 3Color the cream muzzle and chin area lightly so the face stands out.
- 4Use stone gray for the big rock the lion rests on, working around the paws.
- 5Color the background hills and grass in light green and forest green, leaving the sky white.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra chestnut brown along the mane edges and a touch of darker green in the grass for depth.
