Gentle Lioness and Her Cub Cuddling on a Rock

A gentle lioness rests behind a flat, cracked rock with both big paws draped over the edge, while a small cub sits upright on top and tilts its head up to nuzzle her cheek. Both have large, shiny eyes and soft smiles, and the cub's tail ends in a fluffy tuft beside its back paws. Tufts of grass grow in the bottom corners, and a few small pebbles are scattered near the base of the rock. The lines are clean and fairly thick, so the big areas of fur and rock are easy for young children, while the whiskers, mane tufts and paw toes give older kids some detail to work on. Warm golden yellow and tan suit the two lions, soft gray the rock, and fresh greens the grass. Print this sheet at home for a classroom project or weekend craft.
