Angel Boy Holding a Ladybug in the Garden

A small angel with curly hair and a halo sits on the ground, holding a ladybug in cupped hands and looking down at it. Two wings with a star on each one stick out behind the angel's back. Around the angel are several garden visitors: a big butterfly with patterned wings floats at the top left, a fuzzy caterpillar rears up on the left side as if to peek at the ladybug, and a spotted frog sits in the lower right corner. A small group of flowers and a few tufts of grass fill the bottom of the page. Try coloring the ladybug bright red and the frog green with different shades for its spots, then ask your child to name each creature and count how many animals are in the scene. The large open shapes on the wings and clothing are easy for younger kids to fill in, and the printable page is a nice quiet activity for home or class.
