Both arms wrapped around a giant strawberry nearly as tall as he is, this little gnome has a big rounded nose and a long, curved pointy hat. He wears a wide open-mouth smile, rosy cheeks, a fluffy beard and a tuft of hair by his ear, plus a simple tunic and chunky boots. The strawberry has a leafy top, a curly stem and lots of oval seeds that are fun to fill in. At his feet, strawberry plants with jagged leaves and a few small berries grow on both sides. Thick, clear outlines make it comfortable for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Red for the berry and sunny yellow or soft blue for the hat will help the gnome stand out. - 1Fill the big strawberry and the small strawberries with strawberry red, leaving the tiny seed dots white.
- 2Color the gnome's face, hands, and ears with peach skin, then paint the hat brim strawberry red.
- 3Paint the jacket sky blue, the belt golden yellow, and the pants dark green.
- 4Color the boots chocolate brown and the open mouth coral pink, keeping the beard and the background white.
- 5Fill all the leaves and stems with grass green, including the leaves around the small strawberries.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker green along the edges of the leaves and a little shading on the strawberry for depth.
