Little Monkey in Hat and Scarf with Music Gear

A cheerful little monkey sits with a long curved tail sweeping up behind it, wearing a brimmed hat and a small knotted scarf at its neck. Its mouth is open in a big smile, its eyes are wide and shiny, and one hand is raised as if it is dancing or waving. Around the monkey are a pair of maracas, a conga-style drum, an acoustic guitar, a trumpet, and two music notes floating at the top of the page. The large open areas on the body, tail, and hat are easy for younger kids to fill in. Try coloring each instrument a different bright shade, then talk about which ones you shake, strike, strum, or blow. This free printable also works well for a music class warm-up.
