Little Sea Turtle on the Sand Coloring Page For Kids
Coloring guide
With big sparkly eyes and a smile, a baby sea turtle crawls across the sand, its head turned toward the ocean waves on the right. The shell is made of large geometric panels, and the spotted flippers and spotted head add plenty of small areas to fill in. A curved palm tree with coconuts leans over the shore behind it, along with a tuft of beach grass. In the bottom corner, a tiny crab with raised claws grins up at the turtle, and a scallop shell and a few pebbles lie on the sand. Soft greens for the shell panels and a lighter yellow-green for the spots would look good, with blue waves and a sandy tan beach. This free printable is easy for young kids but has enough detail to keep them busy. Love this For Kids coloring page? You might also enjoy our For Girls and Thank You Cards coloring pages.

- 2Fill the shell plates with chocolate brown, then color the shell's edge band with golden orange and the underside with pale yellow.
- 3Paint the palm leaves and the grass tufts with leaf green, add forest green to the bottom grass, and color the palm trunk and coconuts chocolate brown.
- 4Use ocean blue for the sea at the right, leaving a few thin white wave lines, and keep the sand and sky white.
- 5Color the crab's body and claws with coral red, the crab's eye stalks and arm joints with sunny yellow, the scallop shells with soft pink, and the pebble with light gray.
- 6Optional: add forest green spots on the head and flippers and a few darker spots on the shell for a little extra detail.
