Little Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Rowing Through a Brick Sewer Tunnel
Coloring guide
A little turtle with a big smile is paddling a wooden rowboat down a brick tunnel, his cape flowing out behind him. A happy frog sits on the edge of the boat beside him, grinning along for the ride. Two lanterns hang on the curved brick walls, and round pipes on both sides pour water into the channel. In the foreground, two fish leap out of the rippling waves with splashes all around. This turtle looks like a cute cartoon character rather than a named hero, so kids can use any colors they want. A red or purple cape would be fun, with soft greens for the turtle and frog and warm yellow for the glowing lanterns. Large shapes and clear lines make this free printable a good match for preschoolers and early elementary kids. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big brick walls and arch in light gray, leaving a few bricks white so the tunnel looks lit.
- 2Color the water and both waterfalls in sky blue, and the dark drain openings in charcoal gray.
- 3Fill the turtle head and hands in yellow green, and the arms and frog in lime green, leaving the eye whites and teeth white.
- 4Color the shell plates in pale yellow, then the red cape in bright red.
- 5Color the boat and oar in wood brown, and the paddle in caramel tan.
- 6Finish the fish with orange and golden yellow. Optional: add a little darker shading on the boat and shell edges for depth.
