Long-Haired Dragon Ball Z Fighter Throwing a Punch

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• bright orange
• bright blue
• lemon yellow
• light peach
• golden yellow
• burnt orange
• pale tan
• warm tan

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the spiky hair: fill it with lemon yellow, then add golden yellow in the darker spikes, leaving thin white highlights between the strands.
2. 2Color the face, arms, and raised fist with light peach, and use pale tan for the shadowed areas on the fist and forearm.
3. 3Fill the fighter's gi with bright orange across the torso and legs, then add burnt orange to the deeper folds and the collar.
4. 4Color the wristband, the wide belt, and the long flowing cape with bright blue, keeping the belt knot and cape edges neat.
5. 5Leave the background white and keep the eye whites, teeth, and hair highlights untouched.
6. 6Optional: add a few warm tan strokes on the cheeks and chest to soften the skin shading.
