Long-Tailed Thresher Shark in Simple Black Lines

Coloring guide
A single shark swims to the left in simple black outline, shown from the side. The most striking feature is the very long, curved upper tail fin that sweeps up and back to a point in the top right corner. The shark has a pointed snout, one small round eye, and a short gill slit marked with a thick black stroke behind the head. A tall dorsal fin rises from the middle of the back, with a pectoral fin hanging below the body and a smaller fin near the tail. The background is plain white, so there is lots of room to color. Try blue-gray on top and a lighter shade on the belly, then talk about why thresher sharks have such a long tail. This printable page works well for ocean units or quiet afternoon coloring.
