Magic Trick Time for a My Little Pony with Wand and Hat

Right in the middle of a magic trick, a little pony in a feathered crown prances on her back hooves beside an upturned top hat. Paper scraps and a pair of scissors seem to float up out of the hat, with small sparkle stars around them. Down on the ground lie a magic wand and a loose sheet of paper. She has a long wavy mane and tail, a ribbon bow near her tail, and an oval gem-style emblem on her hip, and she glances back with a curious little smile. The swirly hair and the small details on the crown and emblem give kids lots to color, while big areas like the hat are easy for younger children. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the pony's body, face, neck, and legs with cream, leaving the paper cards and the white strands of the tail and mane unpainted.
- 2Fill the top hat with bright red, then color its band and brim so the band is sky blue and the brim is golden yellow.
- 3Color the mane and tail golden yellow, adding a few hot pink strands near the top of the head and at the bottom of the tail.
- 4Paint the bow and the fan shape on the right in sky blue, and color the scissors handle burnt orange and the scissor rings sky blue.
- 5Color the saddle tan brown, the horn light orange, and the crown gem golden yellow, keeping the crown's outlines white. Optional: add a little darker shading under the belly and hat with a slightly deeper shade of the same colors.
