Man in Crown of Thorns Before the Crowd

A bearded man with a crown of thorns stands on a raised stone platform, his wrists tied in front of him and his cloak slipping off one shoulder. A man in a long draped robe stands beside him and points toward him, while a soldier in a plumed helmet holds a spear and a large round shield behind them. In the foreground, several men in head wraps and fringed robes crowd together. One reaches an arm up and points, and another leans in close with his hand raised. Small onlookers watch from a balcony and an archway in the background. A free printable like this works well for Good Friday lessons. Try soft browns and grays for the robes and a bright color for the soldier's helmet, then talk with kids about how each person in the scene might be feeling.
