Man Tied to Post as Storm Gathers Nearby

A man in a headband, sash, and patterned tunic stands against a tall wooden post with his hands tied behind him by a rope. A bearded man in a long robe and head covering grips the rope, while another man with a beard looks out from behind the post. On the left, a woman with a headband speaks with her hand raised, and a girl with a braid and another person in a hood look on with worried faces. A small child peeks out from between them. In the background, dark clouds, rain, and lightning bolts sit beside a rainbow. Triangles decorate the hem of the man's tunic, and his sandals have crisscross straps. For a Bible lesson, try coloring the stormy sky in deep grays and blues and the rainbow in bright bands, then ask kids how the different faces in the crowd seem to be feeling.
