Mercury Planet With Craters and Earth Size Comparison

Coloring guide
A large round Mercury fills most of the page, with its name written in bold outlined letters across the top. The surface is covered in craters of many sizes, from tiny dots to bigger rings, and two of them have thin lines radiating outward like splashes. A short curved line runs along the lower left edge of the planet. In the bottom left corner, a boxed picture shows a small, lightly speckled Mercury next to a much larger Earth with its continents outlined, so kids can see the size difference. Try coloring Mercury in grays and browns, then give Earth blues and greens to show how different the two planets are. Teachers can use the comparison box for a quick talk about planet sizes. This free printable works well for a space unit or a quiet afternoon activity.
