A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big blue wings: color the upper and lower outer blades, the left and right wing tips, and the bottom edges with bright blue.
- 2Fill the large yellow arms and gear rings with golden yellow, including the left and right middle arms and the front ring sections.
- 3Color the inner rings and the gray side panels with charcoal gray, then add the center hexagon plate in bright blue with its bottom edge in the same blue.
- 4Add the red stripes on the wings and the wheel in fire red, plus the small brown and tan clips near the sides with dark mustard and tan brown.
- 5Finish the details: leave the eye whites and the small grid patch at the bottom white, and fill the remaining small clips and tips with soft gold or cream yellow.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading with a darker shade of each color along the edges of the blades to make the metal look more shiny.
