Mid-Air Showdown Between Two Sonic the Hedgehog Characters
Coloring guide
Two spiky hedgehogs crash together in mid-air on this action-packed Sonic the Hedgehog page. The one on the left is drawn from behind and below, with a big sneaker in the foreground, long swept-back quills and a raised arm wearing a ring on the wrist. On the right, the second hedgehog has tall pointed quills, a narrowed stare and a fluffy chest tuft, and he leans in with a clenched fist pressed against the first. Both are leaping, and the white page has no background, so the figures stand out. Big shoes, rings and flowing quills give older kids plenty to color. Golden yellow quills for the left hedgehog and deep black with red streaks for the other would look striking, plus bright colors on the sneakers. Print it free for a screen-free activity at home. Kids who like Sonic the Hedgehog coloring pages usually enjoy Plants vs. Zombies and Halo too.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- royal blue
- medium gray
- near black
- bright red
- light tan
- golden yellow
- brick red
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big blue areas: fill Sonic's body, legs, and back quills with royal blue, leaving the white arm stripe and gloves untouched.
- 2Color Shadow's body, head spikes, and arms with near black, and fill Sonic's gray fist and both large shoe soles with medium gray.
- 3Add bright red to the shoe bands and Shadow's red shoe and arm cuff, then use brick red for the darker red shading on Shadow's arm.
- 4Fill Sonic's belly and Shadow's muzzle with light tan, and color the bracelets on Shadow's wrists and ankle area with golden yellow.
- 5Keep the white gloves, shoe cuffs, Shadow's chest fur, and muzzle white, and leave the background empty.
- 6Optional: Add a few light strokes of darker shading inside the blue quills and gray soles to give the characters more depth.
