Off to Work: Minecraft Character With Pickaxe

Coloring guide
A blocky character strides forward on this page, one arm swinging out to the side and the other hand gripping a pixel-edged pickaxe. The square head has a stepped hairline, two square eyes and a small mouth. The shirt has a jagged neckline, and the legs are caught mid-step, as if the character is hurrying off to work. No background, so kids can focus on the figure or draw in their own scenery. Big simple shapes and thick outlines suit beginners and younger children, and the zigzag edges on the pickaxe are good practice for staying neat. Brown hair, a teal or green shirt and a gray or blue pickaxe head would look great. Print this free page for a quiet creative moment. - 3Use peach for the face, hands and bare forearms, keeping the eye whites white.
- 4Color the hair on the top and side of the head with dark brown, and fill the mouth with dark brown too.
- 5Color the pickaxe head aqua teal and its tip caramel brown, then fill the handle with walnut brown and caramel brown stripes.
- 6Fill the eye irises with royal blue. Optional: add a slightly darker shade on one side of each area to make it look more 3D.
