Ender Dragon with Raised Wing, Minecraft Style
Coloring guide
Here's a blocky Ender Dragon seen from the side, standing on a simple wavy ground line. Its head turns to the left with the mouth open, and it has two curved horns, a boxy snout and a little round ring on the cheek. One big bat-like wing lifts up behind the shoulders, with long ribbed fingers and ragged, torn edges on the membrane. The neck and body are made of rectangular, patchwork plates. Four sturdy block legs finish in chunky feet, and the tall curved tail is lined with pointed spikes and zigzag segments. Nothing else is on the page, so the dragon gets all the attention. Deep purple or charcoal works well for the body, with bright magenta in the wing panels and around the eye for a glowing effect. Print it free for a calm, creative break. Kids who like Minecraft coloring pages usually enjoy Plants vs. Zombies and Among Us too.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- bright red
- sky blue
- golden yellow
- orange
- amber
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big wing panels: fill the wide wing membranes in sky blue, and leave the thin wing bones and the finger tips white.
- 2Color the head, snout, neck, body and most of the tail segments in bright red, working around the yellow and orange pieces.
- 3Fill the horns, lower jaw, front legs, feet and the yellow tail sections with golden yellow, keeping the shiny plate on the head white.
- 4Add orange to the shoulder band, hip plate and a few tail segments, then use amber on the lower chest so the body looks patchworked.
- 5Leave the belly between the legs and the tail spikes white. Optional: add a few darker strokes of the same color along the edges of the body plates for depth.
