A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring the head and the front of the face with peach, leaving the eye whites empty.
- 2Fill the crossed arms, the big body sides and the legs with warm brown, working in one area at a time.
- 3Color the robe center, the arm seams, the brow ridge and the robe hem with dark brown to create the darker folds.
- 4Fill the chest area under the arms with sandy tan, then color the nose in peach and its side in warm brown.
- 5Color the two shoe parts at the bottom with medium gray.
- 6Color the eye irises forest green and keep the eye whites white. Optional: add a few slightly darker strokes on the arms and head to add depth.
