Mirabel in Round Glasses With Pinwheels, Encanto Page
Coloring guide
Mirabel Madrigal from Encanto fills this page from the shoulders up, smiling with a hopeful, slightly surprised look. She has big round glasses and full, voluminous curls with a small tuft of bangs on her forehead, plus a drop earring on one ear. Her embroidered blouse has butterfly patterns along the neckline and sleeve and a ruffled bow at one shoulder. On the right, a cluster of paper pinwheels with faceted, geometric blades sits in what looks like a jar or vase. All those small sections make the pinwheels a good match for kids who like detailed work. Bright yellows and oranges look good on the blouse butterflies, and cool blues and purples will make the pinwheel panels pop. This free page is ready to print whenever you are. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big skin areas: fill the face, neck, chest and arms with warm tan, leaving the eye whites and teeth white.
- 2Color the hair dark brown, working around the curls, and fill the cream dress and lace trims with cream.
- 3Add golden yellow to the headband, the sash and the small accents near the hair, then fill the purple shawl and the red flower on the shoulder.
- 4Bring the pinwheels to life: use sky blue, purple, fire red, coral pink, tangerine orange and emerald green for the blades, and use warm gray for the pole.
- 5Finish the details with black for the mouth, the pupils and the glasses lines, and keep the background white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker brown or purple along one side of the hair and blades to create gentle shading.
