Mom and Daughter Watering Tulips for Mother's Day
Coloring guide
Side by side in a flower bed, a smiling mom and her little girl kneel together. Mom has long hair and overalls, and she tips a watering can so droplets fall onto a tulip. The girl wears a short-sleeved shirt, overalls and a ponytail, and she grins as she digs in the soil with a small hand trowel. Tulips, daisy-style flowers, grass tufts and small bushes fill the ground, with a picket fence standing behind them. Big shapes and clear lines help kids who are learning to stay inside the lines, and the details give older children something to enjoy too. Pink, red and yellow tulips, a bright blue watering can and soft green leaves look nice together. Print this sheet at home for a screen-free activity. - 3Fill the mom's hair in auburn brown and the daughter's hair and ponytail in golden yellow.
- 4Add the tops: rose pink for the mom's shirt and sleeves, and lavender purple for the daughter's shirt.
- 5Color the watering can in grass green with the water inside in teal, then add the gray shovel and the brown soil.
- 6Finish the garden: color the fence in wood tan, the bushes and grass in grass green and lime green, the tulips in rose pink, and the flowers in lavender purple, leaving the white flower and the background white. Optional: add a little darker green at the bottom of the tulip leaves for depth.
