Monkey on the Move, Walking Upright with Tail Trailing

A cartoon monkey stands on bent legs with its head turned to the side and a small smile on its face. It has wide round eyes, a little nose, and a round ear on each side of its head. One arm hangs down with a closed fist, and the other arm reaches across the body with its fingers spread. The round belly has a tiny belly button, and a long curvy tail swings out behind with a curled tip. Both feet show separate toes. The lines are thick and the shapes are large, so younger kids can color without much trouble. Try browns and tans for the fur, then a lighter shade on the face, ears, and belly. It also works for a quick talk about how monkeys use their tails and hands. You can print it for free for a classroom or a rainy afternoon.
