Mother Dog and Her Puppies Resting on a Blanket
Coloring guide
A big, smiling mother dog with her tongue out sits on a soft, rumpled blanket, four little puppies settled around her. Three are curled up fast asleep: one tucked against her front leg and two snoozing up front. The fourth sits awake on the right, chewing the end of her fluffy tail. Behind them you'll see a woven wicker basket on the left and a square pillow with paw prints on the right. The long, feathery fur on the mother's ears and chest gives kids lots of texture to work with. Golden yellow and warm orange for the dogs and a soft blue or purple blanket will help everyone stand out. This free printable is nice for quiet time at home or in the classroom. - 5Optional: Add a little extra caramel brown along the edges of the golden fur for a bit of depth.
