Mother Dolphin and Baby Dolphin Playing Together

A large adult dolphin curves in a big arc on the left while a small baby dolphin faces it on the right. Both have open, smiling mouths and round eyes with a small curved eyelash mark. The adult has its flipper reaching out toward the little one, and its tail fluke sits at the bottom of the page. The baby has its own small flipper, a dorsal fin and a tiny tail on the far right. Lines are bold and the shapes are big and open, so they work well for younger kids with chunky crayons. Try coloring the big dolphin a darker gray-blue and the baby a lighter shade, then talk about how dolphin calves stay close to their mothers.
