Mama Dragon, Baby and Chick by the Volcano, a Charizard Family Scene

In the middle of this scene, a tall, smiling dragon with a long neck, a curved head crest and large wings sits and looks down at the two little ones tucked beside her. One is a baby dragon with small horns and tiny wings, and the other is a round, chick-like bird. Smoke rises from a cone-shaped volcano behind them, and rocky cliffs, a waterfall, tree stumps and puffy clouds fill the background. Large leaves, ferns and flowers frame the bottom corners, and flat stepping stones lead toward the viewer. Belly bands and scale patches on the dragon give kids lots of detail to work on. Soft greens and teals would suit the dragons, warm oranges and reds the volcano, and bright yellow the little bird. Print this sheet at home for a classroom project or weekend craft.
