Mother Koala Holding Baby in Forked Tree

Mother Koala Holding Baby in Forked Tree coloring sheet

Coloring guide

A large koala clings to a forked tree trunk with one arm stretched out to grip the right branch and one foot planted on the same side. Her round ears, wide oval nose and dot eyes give her a calm, curious look. A smaller baby koala hugs her front, with one little arm reaching up and its own round ears, small nose and dot eyes turned outward. Thin branches curve in from the left edge and the top corner. The outlines are clean and the shapes are big, so little hands can color inside the lines without much trouble. Try gray or soft brown fur on the two koalas, with a lighter shade on the baby so it stands out against its mother. This free printable also works well for a quick talk about how baby koalas stay close to their mothers.
