Sleeping Koala Resting on a Tree Branch

A sleepy koala lies stretched across a single tree branch with its big head tucked down and resting on the wood. Its eyes are closed in two small curved lines, and the large oval nose sits near the bottom of the face. One big round ear with fuzzy, jagged tufts of fur stands up on the right side, and a smaller round ear shows on the left. The koala's front arm hangs down over the branch, and its feet dangle below with small toe edges drawn at the bottom. The branch runs across the whole page and ends in a small broken stub on the left. The shapes are large and the lines are bold, so this free printable works well for younger kids using crayons. Try soft grays for the body and a darker shade for the nose, then add a brown branch to talk about where koalas like to nap.
