Mr. Krabs stands in the middle of the room, mouth wide open and eyestalks stretched up, totally startled. Burger parts fly all around him: a finished Krabby Patty, bun halves, patties, lettuce leaves and a few round plates. A broken wooden plank lies on the floor next to a splintered round object with handles, and small shattered pieces are scattered close by. Behind him you can see a curtain and a doorway with a small paper note stuck to the wall. There's plenty for kids to color here, from the big shapes of his body and belt to the tiny flying bits. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the floor and wall: color the green floor teal green and the big wall panels sky blue, leaving the left wall background white.
- 2Fill the wooden door frame, tree trunk, planks, and broken bowl with tan brown, using dark brown for the darkest wood on the bowl bottom and floorboard.
- 3Color Mr. Krabs' body: red head shell and claws in bright red, shirt in light blue, and pants in purple, then add the black belt and buckle.
- 4Paint the eyestalks pale green, the mouth coral pink, and the flying burger buns, meatballs, and potato pieces light orange.
- 5Add the golden yellow cheese slices, lime green lettuce and food bits, and the orange donut ring with its sky blue hole.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the wood and under the characters to make the scene feel more dramatic.
