Mushroom-Picking Witch in the Woods

Crouching in the woods, a young witch in a big buckled pointed hat reaches down to pick a spotted mushroom. Her other hand holds a woven basket with several dotted mushrooms already inside. She has long wavy hair, a smile, and a cloak fastened with a round clasp at the neck. On the right, a curious squirrel peeks around a thick tree trunk, and ferns, grass tufts, leafy branches and more mushrooms cover the forest floor. Deep purple works for the hat and cloak, and red or orange mushroom caps will pop against green ferns. Kids who like to switch between broad strokes and careful coloring will enjoy the mix of large shapes and small leaf and basket details. Print this sheet at home for classroom time or a rainy day.
