My Little Pony Smiling Under an Apple Tree
Coloring guide
This young pony is standing beneath a leafy apple tree and glancing back over her shoulder, with big sparkling eyes and a sweet smile. Her long wavy mane falls to one side, and her full tail curls out behind her. Three round apples hang from the branches above, and a woven basket piled with apples sits on the grass near her front hooves. A wooden fence runs across the back of the scene, and small tufts of grass dot the ground. Little ones can start with the big open shapes of the pony and apples, while older kids can take on the bark, leaves and basket weave. Red and green work well for the apples, with soft purple or pink for the mane and tail. Print or download it free for a screen-free afternoon. Looking for more? - 2Fill each apple with apple red, leaving a small green leaf on top as it is in the example.
- 3Color the pony's body, face, ears, and legs with golden orange, then fill the hooves with chestnut brown.
- 4Color the flowing mane and tail with pale yellow, keeping the eye whites, the tree trunk, and the gaps in the fence white.
- 5Fill the basket and fence posts with warm tan, then add a few tan lines across the basket weave. Optional: add slightly darker orange shading under the pony's belly and legs for depth.
