New Orleans Hornets Grinning Hornet Mascot Logo

A cartoon hornet sits in the middle of this outline logo, with the words NEW ORLEANS curved in an arch above it and HORNETS in bold block letters below. The hornet has big round eyes, long curved antennae, a grinning mouth and two large swooping wings behind its back. A round badge on its chest shows a letter H with the word NOLA across it. Its hands are spread wide, and a basketball with curved seam lines rests on the right side. The big sneakers and the curved stripes on the lower body give you lots of space to work with. The lettering is drawn as hollow outlines, so kids can fill it with solid color. Try yellow and teal for the hornet and wings, then use a darker shade for the stripes so the body stands out. This free printable also works well for a basketball team fan day.
