Night Sky Sleigh Ride with Santa Claus and Two Reindeer
Coloring guide
Up in the night sky, Santa leans out of a curly sleigh and waves a mittened hand at a big full moon covered in craters. Two smiling reindeer leap ahead to pull him, both wearing collars with jingle bells, and the front one has a round nose. A sack spills over behind Santa with a teddy bear, a toy train, a wrapped gift and a candy cane, all tied up with a bow. Down below you'll spot snowy rooftops with brick chimneys topped in snow, small houses with windows and little pine trees, while stars of different sizes fill the sky. There's room here for both small and detailed work, and it's a free printable. A deep blue crayon around the moon and stars looks great, and bright red makes Santa's suit and the toy sack stand out. It's a nice fit for a winter afternoon or a classroom holiday break. This fits right in with our Santa Claus coloring pages — see also Disney Christmas and Christmas for Kids.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the night sky: leave the stars and background white, then color the stars and the large moon's craters with golden yellow.
- 2Fill Santa's suit and hat with bright red, leaving the white fur trim, beard, and boots white.
- 3Color the sack and the teddy bear with caramel brown and tangerine orange, then add the sleigh trim and runners in golden yellow.
- 4Paint both reindeer with tawny orange, leave the hooves and bells white, and use rose pink on the inner ears and brick red on the glowing nose.
- 5Color the rooftops and chimneys with burnt orange and forest green for the trees, keep the snow white, and fill the windows with lemon yellow.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading with dark chocolate on the reindeer's legs and sack for depth.
