Night Sky Witch With Kitten on a Broomstick
Coloring guide
Off she goes! A smiling young witch in a big buckled pointed hat races across the night sky on a bristly broomstick, her long fringed scarf streaming behind. A little kitten with an open-mouth grin sits on the broom handle behind her with its tail curling up. She holds the broom with one hand and wears a belted dress with wide bell sleeves, striped stockings and buckled boots. A crescent moon, plenty of small and medium stars, and a couple of puffy clouds in the bottom corners surround them. Thick, clear outlines and roomy shapes keep this free printable friendly for younger kids, and the stripes, fringe and bristles give older kids something to chew on. Purple for the hat and dress and yellow for the stars and moon will stand out well on a deep blue sky. Looking for more? Our Fairy and Elf coloring pages pair nicely with this Witch page.

- 1Start with the sky clouds in the corners using light sky blue, leaving their outlines clean.
- 2Fill the witch's hat, dress, and cloak with royal purple, and color the scarf in soft violet.
- 3Color the witch's hair and striped socks in tangerine orange, and the kitten's body in charcoal gray.
- 4Use chocolate brown for the broom handle and golden yellow for the broom bristles, then add the belt, boots, and hat buckle in charcoal gray.
- 5Color the face and hands in light peach and the kitten's ears and mouth in soft pink, leaving the small highlights white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading in dark plum under the hat brim and the shoulders for depth, and finish the stars in bright yellow.
