A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the wide road and far lane in light gray, the top left strip in sky blue, and the grass patches on the left in grass green.
- 2Fill the big racing car body, spoiler, and side panels in bright red, leaving the windshield, headlight, and hood highlights white.
- 3Add mauve gray to the roof panel and the top of the rear spoiler, then draw navy blue stripes running from the hood toward the windshield and fill the number 1 circle with white.
- 4Color the two background cars: the front one in cream with golden yellow on its roof and rear, the green one in grass green with a navy blue windshield, and the small far car with light gray roof and bright blue windows.
- 5Fill the curb stripes along the track in tomato red and leave the other curb blocks white.
- 6Optional: Add a little light coral or brick red shading along the lower edges of the red car to make it look more rounded.
