Open Book, Apple and Pencil Back to School Picture
Coloring guide
An open book lies flat with its pages fanned out and left blank, while a big round apple sits against the right side of it. The apple has a short stem and two leaves on top. Below them, a single pencil rests at a slight slant with an eraser, a ridged metal band and a sharpened tip. The lines are bold and the shapes are large, so little hands can color them without much trouble. The blank book pages leave room for creativity. Kids could draw their own letters, numbers or a tiny story on them with colored pencils, then shade the apple red or green and the pencil yellow. Print it free for a first week of school activity, a reading corner or a quick morning warm-up at home.
